Talent Show Auditions. All participants interested in being in our annual talent show MUST come prepared to show us your talent for the show! All acts must be family friendly in nature and be clean fun! Singers, Dancers, Magicians, Actors, Musicians..all talent, all ages! Free to participants!

Grades 2-12 welcome! Please come prepared to sing a song either with your own tape or piano player OR to sing without music. Does require 3-4 rehearsals per week.

Teen STAR CAMP!

Interested in learning more about acting and what happens behind the scenes in a theatre? Then STAR Camp is for you! This is one of The Ashland Theatre's most popular events. Last summer almost 40 kids participated in the annual theatre camp. Learn to perform a solo monologue, stage makeup, costume design, sing and dance, stage movement, puppets, shakespeare, how to audition, commericals, improv, and much more! Camp fee includes T-shirt, Headshot Photograph, and a CD of camp photos! Campers need to bring snack lunch, bottles of water, wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothes they can move in!

STAR CAMP for Kids

Ever wanted to be in a play? But not sure where to start? Is there a young person in your family who is such a Ham you just KNOW they would be a great actor? STAR camp for kids is a great place to start! One of our most popular events, almost 40 campers last year alone, will help guide your young star in training. Instructors Robin and Lori guide your kids on an adventure learning to audition, how to do a monologue, puppets, stage makeup, head shot photography, how to get over stage fright, and how to become a better actor! Camp Fee includes Head Shot Photography, Camp T-shirt, and a CD of Camp Photos. Campers need to bring sack lunch, bottles of water, and wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothes they can move in.
